McNeely Memo

Greetings Panther Families,

To say that February came and went would be a bit of an understatement.  You can never tell what you are going to get with Oklahoma weather and school closings, but we appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we continue to prioritize student and staff safety throughout the year.  With that being said, whenever we have to pivot to virtual (asynchronous) days, it is the expectation that students log in to their google classrooms, complete lessons/activities, and correspond with their teachers for additional support.  Nothing can take the place of in person learning, but this is the best option we have when school closings arise.

If you have any questions or concerns around your student’s academic progress or lack thereof, please take advantage of our parent teacher conferences March 10th and 11th from 4:00-7:30pm.  If you are not able to make those times in person, please reach out to your student’s teacher to arrange an alternative time/way to meet.  As you read through the Panther Pulse, you will see that we have a lot of amazing students representing PC North in a great way and I am grateful for your support and encouragement.  Please help us ensure that our students reach their goals by continuing to support our attendance and academic efforts.  We cannot do this without you!

Thanks,

Mr. Thomas McNeely

Parents, when should your student start preparing for the ACT?

The answer is NOW, regardless of what grade your student is in. It is never too early to start preparing for college readiness.

Preparing for the ACT is crucial because it helps students perform at their best on a standardized test that plays a key role in college admissions.

A strong ACT score can enhance your application, open up scholarship opportunities, and provide a clearer understanding of your academic strengths and areas for improvement.

By preparing, you build confidence, develop test-taking strategies, and maximize your chances of reaching your educational goals.
